FJ,
Thks for your great software. I have used MPE since my K710 till now the Vivaz.
But I have problem to use MPE with my Vivaz.
Everytime I starts the MPE, it will prompt me the message
"Attention! Since the last sync you have deleted message on the phone.
Choose 'Copy into the archive' to save a copy of these message in the SMS-Archive. Choose 'Delete' to delete the messages also in MyPhoneExplorer".
But I did not delete any message from the phone.
How to bypass this problem?
I used SMS extensively. And would like to keep as much as possible the SMS in my phone for reference.
Please help.
Regards.

How many messages do you have in the phone ?
For explanation:
- when you refresh the messages then MPE downloads the whole content from phone and overwrites the content in MyPhoneExplorer - not more and not less - this is not a "sync". MyPhoneExplorer compares then the downloaded data with the existing data in MPE to check if there was something deleted on the phone.
1. MyPhoneExplorer is not able to read all messages from phone and so it detects "deleted" messages - this would be a issue of the phone
2. or there is another reason (f.e. the phone changed the Storageids of the messages which should not happen)
To find out what is the reason please click once "Copy to archive" when refreshing - then take a look at the archive if the messages are really missing in the phone-folders of MPE. If yes then 1) is correct, otherwise 2) is the reason.
And as additional info: The messages are deleted only in myPhoneExplorer. When you refresh then MPE will never delete a message on the phone.

FJ,
Thanks.
As what you mentioned, the cause of problem is in the
my Symbian phone setting.
The default setting is keeping 20 message in sent box, this caused the problem.
Have change it to 999 (the max that I can set. although I wish to set higher). After that, no more this kind of promt appears.
Sorry for the trouble, this is my 1st Symbian handset.
Still try to get use to it.
Thanks a lot for your kind attention.
By the way, whenever the MPE started, there is a message
" Attention! The Sony Ericssion PC Suite is started. This can cause connection problem. Do you want to close the PC-Suite now?"
I used both Bluetooth & USB (when battery low) to connect MPE to my notebook.
Noticed that MPE still works for both "Yes" or "No" answers.
What is the recommended action?
Regards

Hi
I would appreciate a minute of attention here.
When I got the message:
"Attention! Since the last sync you have deleted message on the phone.
Choose 'Copy into the archive' to save a copy of these message in the SMS-Archive. Choose 'Delete' to delete the messages also in MyPhoneExplorer".
there was an option "always use this option" (or something like that) . I have marked that once, but now I want to unmark it to retrieve the dialog box, to make another choice. How do I do that, since dialog box is no more available?
Thanks!!!
