battery charging monitor

I am on my SMS window, I used to have a battery charging monitor at the lower left while PHONE CONNECTED status on the other end (left side) and I have no problem receiving SMS while connected via USB

Recently, I no longer see the battery charging monitor but I still see the PHONE CONNECTED status but when my P990i receives SMS, it doesn't register on the SMS window of my MPE1.7.6, I always need to click REFRESH VIEW

Please help, it is quite tedious xxx the REFRESH VIEW for I regularly receive SMS. It is easier to manage SMS via MPE rather than the P990i phone itself.

Disable "Stable connection" in the settings

It has technically reasons. The whole communication is handled with this option in another mode which works sometimes better for old phones.
