Calendar sync problems & contact suggestions

Hi,

First, thank you for making a superb software. Been with since ver 1.2x I think. This software beats SE's software miles ahead.

Second, the calendar sync works, but does not work for all events. I can see a lot of events are not even sync onto the phone. Tried with both rainlendar pro and google calendar. Even events in the same week was not synced. I use a C510 with 4 gb card (3 gb free). I was thinking of getting a blackberry until I found this neat software. Hope new version's could sync all. Using SE phones 6 years now, not going to migrate anywhere else.

Third, is it possible to make a contact list that list both and phone & sim in one place. Like "All" with the "Sim" & "Phone" contact list? Since sims have quite limited memory, I find that most of my newer contacts are placed in the phone rather than the sim. Maybe you can make all with colour coded or icon to differentiate between sim and phone?

Hopefully a W7 64bit gadget comes out soon. I did not even know there was a gadget for this software at all! Maybe you need to highlight the features of it more?

You can increase the sync-range in the extended setting, you can set it also to "All events", but note that the C510 can handle only 1000 appointments plus 250 tasks. Its a limitation of the phone.

You are right, the SIM-Storage is VERY limitated. besides this on many phones there are problems to edit SIM-Contacts with external software. The SIM-Contacts are only in the program for completness, i will not support any new features to this topic, cause using the SIM-Contacts as usable phonebook is outdated long time ago. The only sense is to have a small backup on SIM.

Hopefully a W7 64bit gadget comes out soon.

How do I check the number of appointments on the phone? I don't think I have used all the available memory.

Is there a SE phone which has unlimited space or uses the memory card as storage?

Yes, sim is limited, but by default, the contacts and messages are saved on the sim first rather than the phone memory by default. So its a bit of a drag.

MyPhoneExplorer->Other->MemoryStatus

Symbian phones have unlimited storage, but they work not so good with MPE as the common phones.

My suspects were right, the events were not cpied entirely to the C510. So no phone really then. Maybe I should get an android SE phone? Not sure it will work with MPE though.

MyPhoneExplorer is currently not compatible with Android-phones

Not all events are copied onto the phone.

I think there must be a problem somewhere as there are lots of free space on the phone.

What happens if you create a new appointment in MPE - is this event transfered to phone after sync ?

You should also press from time to time the "Download entire" button.

Yes. It gets created in the phone with the option to create the same appointment in Google.

I did press download entire, do not see any changes.

What I do notice is that if I have events for more than a week, lets say I put holiday from 1-10 July, it only registers as a holiday for 1 July and not the whole 10 days.

One thing after the other...
You sync with Google ? -> disable "Compare only changed items" in the advanced sync-settings. What shows the "Sync confirmation" window. Are the events also missing there ?
