[Solved] Ubuntu Wine 1.1.44 Toolbar Icons don't work.

Beitrag von Anek77 »

Hello,

I had been using MPE 1.7.x with absolutely no problem while I was using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Kola under Wine. However I have recently upgraded to 10.04 Lucid Lynx and the Icons on the MPE toolbar are no longer "pressable".
(visable but unclickable)

Meaning I cannot press the Sync button on the toolbar or any other button for that matter.

I have found work arounds (hotkeys and F5) to sync but would like to have the toolbar buttons work again - can anyone help me with this?
I have tried MPE 1.7.4 to 1.7.6 and nothing seems to remedy this.

Any help is much appreciated!! Many thanks and goodwork FJ!

Isssue resolved:

I uninstalled Wine, then deleted the residual contents of .wine manually after the uninstall.

Thereafter I reinstalled Wine 1.0.1 - I could upgrade to the current beta version of Wine but have no reason to as everything is running fine. Also - I didnt need to register the MPE DLL files (contrary to the "how to install wine guide" in this forum).

Vb6run and msmxl3 is all that I required.

Everything running sweetly now :)

Good luck, its the beta version of Wine that caused all the problems with MPE,
hope it works for you!
