Hello all,
I have been a very happy user of MPE for the past 4 or 5 years with my trusty old SE W800i.
I lost my W800i over a year ago and only just bought another SE phone yesterday, a SE W595.
Now a couple of issues....
My PC has MPE 1.5.9 which will open without a phone attached (allowing me to see phone numbers and texts, calendar etc)
My Laptop would not allow me to open MPE without a phone connected, thus i updated to MPE 1.7.4, alas it would still not allow me to open without a phone connected.
Now i have a new SE W595 and i'm having trouble connecting it for use with MPE.
I installed the SE PCsuite (as i figured that would load the drivers for my new phone, which it seemed to do)
But when i go to open MPE to load all my numbers etc back to phone, it just crashes during loading.
Laptop with MPE 1.7.4 has a pop-up window that says this....
"Run-time error "372": Failed to load control "PhoneBook" from. Your version of may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application"
Any idea what i am doing wrong.... i have never had so much trouble doing something i thought would be so simple.
