caller ID not working as in version 1.7.4

I just installed the new version (1.7.5) and the caller ID does not seem to be working as in 1.7.4. In my country (Argentina) cellphone numbers are 15-XXXX-XXXX and when using cellphones you can just dial them like 11-XXXX-XXXX (11 = area code). The old version was able to interpret both combinations as the same number, so for example, if "Sven" was "15-1234-5678" in my contact list but when he texted or called me his number showed up as "11-1234-5678" the caller ID displayed "Sven". Now, with the new version this isn't working and I am getting the complete number and not the contact name.

Any way to fix this?

The old version did compare only the last 8 digits. This caused problems so now MPE does compare the full number. Maybe i'll add a tweak the enable the old mode again, i just want to wait some time to see how many users have this problem

Oh, ok. Maybe you can add something to specify the phone format so that people from different countries can set it. I guess I'll stick to the old version then. Thanks

Under messages/Inbox I'll get messages from people in my contacts and sometimes their number will have a '+' in front of it and MPE won't list that message as coming from that contact. This also happens when I receive a call, the phone will display the contact and number as (xxx)xxx-xxxx on the lcd but MPE will show a popup menu with +1xxxxxxxxxx and not show me whos calling. But then when I sync later the call log will show the proper contact.

Maybe you can have a "US" mode where you search only against (xxx)yyy-zzzz? I believe my carrier changes whether or not it sends a '+1' from time to time but I don't really know.

In the next update i'll go back to the old mod which compared only the last 8 digits.

It would also be nice the ability so select how numbers are split, for example XX XX XX XX XX like in France or any other combination.
