I've got a SE Naite, did a backup with MPE before I was going to update the phone with SE Update Service.
I selected ALL options in the "Create safetybackup" utility in MPE. At the werry end of the backup a message appeared stating that 1 picture was copyrighted and wouldn't be copied, I said OK to that and proceeded.
I updated the phone, it's totally erased when you run the Update Service (anyhow I think you know that) and when it finished updating I connected it to MPE and was going to restore the earlier backup.
I was terrified when I couldn't see any options to get my pictures back!
Is the pictures gone or can I find them somewhere?
Problem solved, the files were newer gone, they just didn't show up in MPE, I used explorer to look for the pictures and I found them where they should be.
Its normal that MPE does not restore backupped files. The reason: When you restore the backup on another phone maybe it has another folder-structure. Just use the filebrowser to restore the files - as you already did.
