Hi,
I was using MyPhoneExplorer for couple of months to make SMS writing easier. Now, the program just shows its first splash screen "My Phone Explorer - loading interface" and waits, do nothing. CPU usage is 0 or 1 percent.
Mobile phone is not connected. I tried to restart my computer and reinstal it (v1.7.4). The behaviour is the same.
Could you help me to diagnose what is wrong?
Pavel.
MyPhone Explorer is getting freezed in its splash screen

MyPhoneExplorer freezing problem - Solved
Hello Fj,
I tried to clean-up the registry - still the same MyPhoneExoporer behaviour, then reinstal the product - no progress.
I have found MyPhoneExplorer log file which is here:
Logdatei MyPhoneExplorer
************************
Programmversion: 1.7.4
Datum: 2.1.2010
23:20:47.92 Setting Port:
23:20:47.92 Setting Baud:
23:20:47.92 Avaiable Ports: COM1=\Device\Serial0;
23:20:47.92 Main Load frmSplash
23:20:48.67 Load frmSplash...
23:20:48.67 Show splash...
23:20:48.68 frmSplash geladen
Just after the splash screen is displayed the computer plays "error" sound and there is a message-window hiden behind the Splash Window. When I try to kill the MyPhoneExplorer task, the message-window appears and shows its content for a while is just with an OK button (MB_OK). The error window content was CCRPUCW Run-time error 459.
Then I reinstalled Visual Basic Run-time from VB6.0-KB290887-X86.exe and the MyPhoneExplorer works now.
Thank you for your support. Many regards,
Pavel
