First of all, excuse me for my bad english, i'm dutch ;)

At the moment i have a SE k810i, but the 'joystick' of this phone is broken.
I am using this phone to send textmessages from my computer.

in Windows Vista, Phoneexplorer recognized my phone, and it was'nt necessary to choose the 'phone mode'.
The phone was showing the USB connection screen, but still was ynchonising with Phoneexplorer.

Now with windows 7, phoneexplorer cant find my phone, and because my 'joystick' is broken, i can't my phone in the 'phone mode'..

Does somebody has the same problem, and how can i fix it?

Thanks!

64 bit or 32 bit?

I think it might not be working for you because you are using 64 bit for your o/s.

I know I can't get it to work for that reason.

Hope this helps.

Happy Holidays!

I think you did not install the drivers for the cable. Please use this driverpackage: http://go.grisu59964.de/utp/

Ooh FJ, really thanks, now it works!!!

but, i got another question.
now i have a 'clean install' of Phoneexplorer on my PC, so there are no contacts and messages in the archief.

before i installed Windows 7, i made a copy of the program and placed it on an external harddrive.
But now, I can't open that program, it gives a "runtime error 429 you do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality".

I had an message archief, is there an possibility to import that archief?

really appreciate the help!!

The errormessage does come from a worst installation. Please use the setup and install MyPhoneExplorer again.

The phoe-data are not saved in the programdirectory (cause of access-reasons). The data are saved in the AppData-Folder. Easiest way to find it: Start-Run-%appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer-OK
