exporting contacts to google/gmail contacts

i tried searching the forum but i didn't find any help with this.If there is already a thread answering my question, then just link it here

okay my question is:

I have 600+ contacts on my SE phone (and in MyPhoneExplorer) - i'd like to have them added to my google/gmail contacts list.

I tried opening my contacts in excel and saving the file as a csv file but when i import it into google/gmail contacts it uses the phonenumber and not the name field as the (display) name of the contact.

I alos tried doing it via outlook - exporting csv/xsl from MPE, importing it into outlook contacts, exporting that file to csv and importing it to google/gmail contacts - but then all the plus'ses in front of my phone numbers disappear...

Can anybody help me with tips on how to export my conacts into gmail?

You could sync your phone directly with Google. Take a look at Menu-File-Settings-Sync
