bluetooth lock of my computer

Hi!
I LOVE the software! Use it for some time now but there is one issue I cannot solve. I am trying to enable the function where, when away from my PC with my phone on, the screen automatically locks. I did find the relevant hints on this forum and followed the procedure but the end result is that nothing happens. I have Z770i and this phone seem to work perfectly with MPE. So, could someone help me out in enabling the feature. It would be a great security asset.

Use Start -- Run (or Windows+R) and type in:

Code: Alles auswählen

%appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\general.ini

Then add the following two lines at the end of the file:

[EventHandlers]
OnConnectionLost=C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation

I found that earlier and applied but nothing happens... Anything else I have to do?

I don't think so... But FJ wrote somewhere, that it isn't very stable. That's the reason why it is just implemented as a tweak.

Maybe you are using the wrong settings in MPE:
- stable connection must be UNCHECKED
- disable automatic connection-detection must be UNCHECKED

it is but it still does not work. Any other ideas I could try?

Try another command to see if the Eventhandler works. f.e. C:\Windows\notepad.exe

This command should start notepad everytime when the event is triggered.

My English is not good, I'm probably at the wrong subject.
My phone can't connect... There is everything they ask.
When I connect my phone to the computer I launch Bluetooth, IR, and an USB.

FJ, I can launch the notepad. I have the ini file in \Application Data\MyPhoneExplorer etc. The connection works, I can sync with TB, everything is peachy EXCEPT locking the screen. I run WinXP BTW. So on the one side my phone is FULLY sync with my laptop, on the other hand the laptop has NO clue when I leave out of range- my phone does though because the icon on the phone changes from connected to disconnected.
What else could I try?

Is the notepad started throught the EventHandler ?
