i have few more suggestions

i have vista home basic
MPE v1.7.4

in the contact bar of new message wen delete is pressed continuously MPE crashes

i use bluetooth to connect my mobile often to lap and sometimes with data cable, wat happens is sometimes wen i connect using data cable my mobile is not recognised.

often SMS is used to get infos from person, like filling a form of personal details, so i suggest some user defined sms templates can be created and that can be edited to send sms, which will reduce time.... this will be similar to the database section in yahoo groups which has templates for creating database.

i know u want to keep the GUI simple and not load it with too many features, but certain features becomes too much in essential to people like us, u have to consider some of the minor requests too.
like MPE with different versions for different users can be created, so that MPE becomes a universal one.

Sony erricsson has now introduced a a phone manager for its mobiles, can have a look at its GUI as it has some user friendly divisions tooo

I don't think it has to do with MyPhoneExplorer. Maybe you have not a good contact through the cable. If it happens the next time take a look into the Windows-Devicemanager. There should be 2 entrys of the phone in "Modems". If not -> Windows did not detect the phone

I know the GUI of the original PC-Suite but i don't think that its better than MyPhoneExplorer.

And the next time please reply to your existing thread. There is much enought chaos in my forum.
