I have a Sony Ericsson W995 phone and I’ve noticed that when I refresh the sms list in my phone explorer it doesn't show the messages in the outbox, so I cant back them up. Is there a fix for this?

MPE shows also the sent messages (you can click on refresh if you are missing some messages). But its not possible to read out the timestamps of sent messages so maybe they are in the wrong position.

yeh i know that i'd tried refreshing it and it still doesn't give me the recent sent messges

Do you see those messages in the phone ? Please note that its also not possible to read out MMS.

Yes, i'm seeing the messages on the phone that's what's puzzling me even more. This is the 3rd sony ericsson phone i've used it with, but the first time i've had trouble with it.

I never heart of "your" problem. How many message you have saved in your phone ?

Its ok, it seems to be working now, but it hasn't read the date from the messages in the sent items box, but that doesn't matter the main thing is its reading the messages now.

Thats normal - you can read this also in the FAQ
