Hi, My windows crashed but i was just able to recover the entire my phone explorer software folder in program files. is there any possibility of recovering the archive messages? the folder currently has only dll, holidays, languages folders and files that're there are colorschemes, export template, iconlib.dll, mpe addin.xpi, the mpe exe file, smsexporttemplate html file and update.rdf file
The data are located in the appdata-folder.
On Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application data\MyPhoneExplorer (the appdata-folder is hidden)
On Vista: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\MyPhoneExplorer
Many thanks Sir for helping me find the data. fortunately i have the dat files. I very grateful for the prompt reply. can you also tell me how to restore this back up and retrieve the archive files after reinstalling my phone explorer in my new windows?
Install MyPhoneExplorer, run it once and close it. Then copy the folder to the same target (on a working PC you can use Start-Run-%appdata\MyPhoneExplorer-OK)
