Support for Sony Ericsson Satio
Contactx sync and organise sync now both work....amazing!!!
Good to hear. But i think there are some things which have to be done there.
- close MPE
- Start-Run-%appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer-OK
- there should be a folder called "Sony Ericsson U1i [356810030329884]"
- in this folder you can see a file called "settings.dat - open this file with notepad
- search for the line which begins with: FullTZSupport= and delete this line
- search for the line which begins with: SupportsWorkAddress= and delete the line
- save the file
- run MPE in debugmode (Start-Run-myphoneexplorer debug-OK)
- download the whole phonebook (second button in Toolbar)
- open the databasefolder again (%appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer)
- there should be some xml-files, zip them into one file and then delete them
-download entire organizer, and zip the logging-xml-files also
-send me both files via email
Please note: I can see your private data in this logs. If you not agree with this then we have to find another way
Was there a popup in the PC-Suite when you received a new message ? I did not find any logentrys for a realtime-incoming message. The PC-Suite does read out the sms-storage the whole time in a loop in background. But its much more better to use the indication about a new SMS which is sent from the phone to MPE. Maybe you switch in this case the Hex-Mode of Portmonitor of (makes it easier to read the log). And then send a message from another phone to your phone (in hope that the PC-Suite will just read this single message and not the whole storage)

PC Suite has never had a pop-up when a new message is received, it just seems to refresh itself once every minute or so. Sorry but you'll have to explain a bit more the second part of the instructions, im not quite sure what u mean
No problem about the data, but neither of those lines appear in the settings.dat file I have
Thats possible, if the lines are not present then you can overide this step

In the log i saw that you sent a message with the PC-Suite. So i thought this was maybe the reason for the full readout.
Another idea:
- disable the Hex-Mode in PortMon (Menu-Options-Uncheck "Show HEX")
- start the PC Suite and just wait 2 minutes without doing any actions in the PC-Suite
There is a command to the phone which turns on the message-notification. If i see this command then i know if its general disabled or not in the PC-Suite.
I got the logs - they seem interesting.
- add a todo in your phone
- sync again in debugmode
- send me the xml-files and this time also the logfile Debug.txt please.
Another general question about the Satio: How many phonenumbers you can save per contact and which fields ? The older symbians like P1i had no field-limit - the common SE-phones are limited to 7 numbers per contact. Its important to know this for the sync.
We came good forward today, but now its time for me to sleep

Hi guys. You are really doing a good job. I'm interested with what you are doing and I would like to join you in testing the software for I have got Satio.
As posted above, Satio has no field limit. You can add as many fields as as you want. I have added 15 "Mobile" fields, and you can add more than that.
Also, it has an option of editing the field label.
Wow! This is my first post here!
