I have a problem with recurrent meetings where the meeting series starts in summer-time and ends during standard-time. The start time of all the meetings are correct in both Outlook 2003 and MPE 174, but on the phones only the summer-time meetings have correct start time, the others are shown one hour too early.
For instance, the department meeting every Monday starts at 9am, and the first meeting in the recurrent series is set in August. Thus all meetings up to Oct 19 are OK, and starts 9am in the phone, while all meetings from Oct 26 and forward starts at 8am according to the phone.
I have my phone set to "regional timezone" (Sweden, Stockholm) so the change to standard time happened Oct 25. It seems to me that there is some interaction between MPE and the phone which is not OK here.
I tried to delete all phone entries and make a forced sync from Outlook, but it didn't help.
By the way, I use IrMC-Sync as I have problem getting SyncML to work, don't know if this could affect things?
Any thoughts?
Recurrent meeting and timezone (DST) problem with C905
I made some experiments. If I create a recurrent meeting stretching over the DST change date in the phone, it will be correct in the phone, MPE and Outlook. So far so good...
However, if I create the meeting in Outlook it is only correct in Outlook and MPE, in the phone all the after-DST-meetings will be one hour early.
The same problem happens if I use Outlook to edit the meeting I created in the phone (which was correct). After the Outlok change it will now have the same problems as meetings created directly in Outlook.

No, I have not even installed PC-Suite, just the drivers. I have VERY bad experience regarding PC-Suite and avoid it if possible. This is my main reason for using MPE.
I tested to use manual time zone setting (GMT+1, DST=standard), and with that setting ALL my phone entries for a meeting series crossing the DST date are one hour early (although correct in MPE and Outlook), not just the ones which occur after the DST shift.
A meeting series not crossing the DST is OK in mobile, MPE and Outlook.
This seems very strange to me, and I guess that when MPE sends down a recurrent meeting it does not specify anything for each date (right?). So it must be something weird happening in the phone...
