calendar recurrent event issue

hello
i created a recurrent all-day event from 17/08/09->23/08/09 repeating every 4 weeks on monday.
it appears on mpe correctly, next showing on the 14/9/09.
it appears on the phone as 07/09/09->13/09/09...
why's that?

Maybe the phone interprets it in another way cause timezones. Set the Event from 17.08.2009 07:00 to 23.08.2009 20:00 and try if it works better

well yes it does but then the entire calendar is filled with this one task. it seems to be the "all day" thing that makes it go to the wrong week.
This timezone thing wrecks my calendar - so often birthdays end up on the wrong day or spanning across two days because of it; i guess there isn't an "all day" flag, and you're having to say 0000 - 2359 to the phone?
is there another way round this?

oh, it's the daylight saving setting on the phone. I set that correctly and now times appear correctly and the week error works too.

You are using the C905: It would be very recommened to use "Regions" for the timezone. otherwise you'll become problems in Standard-Time
