I got the folder. The SMS-File contains 10 SMS-Blocks (7 SMS-Messages). I think you misunderstood me. I said when you deleted the messages in MPE and you did not close MPE after this accident then you have a little chance that the SMS.dat-File got not overwritten. In this case you can backup this file and after restart you can copy it back. But in your case the file was already overwritten so i'm afraifd the messages are lost.

yea i had coles the MPE .... think i hv lost the messsages.... let it be now !!! thanks for ur help...sorry for bothering ya
