Thank you for an amazing program! I love it!
Here's my suggestions:
- Possibility to view the camera on the phone on the computer and maybe be able to use it as a webcam

- A section (like "Contacts" and "SMS" and so on) where you can edit settings on the phone, like f.ex. light-settings, internet-settings, theme, ringtone, SMS-sound and so on. And if possible: ability to tweak settings beyond what's possible on the phone.

- Possibility to update the software instead of using SE-software and show what version number is the newest

- When you compose a new SMS, you have the ability to send a ping-SMS. If it's not the only "hidden/secret" SMS-service that excists, could you add some more of those "hidden/secret" SMS-services?

- Possibility to compose and show MMS-messages (I'm sure that it's beed suggested a long time ago, so this one was just in case)

That's all I could come up with right now, but my general suggestion is the question for more advanced cool stuff

1) Was already discussed and will not be implemented. The whole communication would be blocked and there is also a program for this.

2) Most settings which can set from an external software are already implemented.

3) What do you mean with hidden/secret SMS Service? Ping-SMS means, that you send a special message and then you'll get a report if the phone is powered on or off. The other person can't see this message.

4) MMS support was often wished but is technically not possible.

Sorry - this is also not possible to fix cause the interface does allow only one receipient.

guys! this is great, can you please let me know the difference of the charging current and input power? in Monitor tab.. as far as i know power is in Watts.. but here we get input power in milli Amperes.. can you please let me know what does this Input power and Charging current mean to the battery?

1) Just tried it with the current version 1.7.2 - i saw no label called "Input power" in the Monitor-tab.
2) Already implemented. please take a look at the Favorites-Button in the window "New message" (it looks like a star)

If possible having a feature that i can integrate MPE together with OUTLOOK and THUNDERBIRD, so if i want to send an SMS for example, i just click on ADD ON (MPE) button to do that.

Hi - as far as I have been able to work out, for syncing to googlemail, the password is always stored. Is there/could there be an option to enter the password at a prompt after first starting MPE? (ie the password is cached for the session but not stored beyond that). Maybe it's just me, but I'm never too happy having passwords stored...

I'm using the search-filter on mpe when manually adding the date and time to sent sms-messages. Now if i move a message to the archieve, the UI "forgets" the selected filter, and i have to re-add that value again. It would be handy that this value would "stick"

Also it would be a nice feature to use a short-cut, like ctrl+k (like mozilla uses for getting to the search-window) to get into this field.

Hi. First of all, i must say i love your program. I can update my contacts so i never miss a birthday, and sync my phone often, so i can keep track of my appointments, and it has never been easier to write text messages both to a single recpient, and a whole group. A great application. Thanks x 1.000.000 !!

One thing i hoped you would consider, is the possibility to synchronize not only 'My calendars' but also 'Other Calendars' I Google Calendars...
It would make it easier to synchronize a calender that is being edited from time to time, by others...

Feature Request: Contact Archive


Hi FJ

Due to limitations on the number of possible contacts in the phone, from time to time, I would have to remove some contacts to make room for new (more frequently used) contacts.

It would be VERY nice to be able to keep those less used contacts in an archive, similar to SMS archive, so when they are needed, they could be moved back into the main contact section.

Already discussed, i don't think its usefully. It just makes the easy GUI from MPE more complicated. You can archive your contacts also in Outlook or as Windows contacts.

When it's impossible for MPE to recognize sent message's timestamp, it might be quite useful for those of us who wanna arrange messages and see them in conversation style, if you have provided an option for us the arrange them manually using drag and drop.

There are news for this task: It will work on Vista and if you use a newer SonyEricsson-Phone (f.e. W910i).

When someone calls me on my SE-phone I can press the busy-option and a busy-signal is sent to the caller.

It would be really nice with an busy-mode option in MPE.
The busy-signal would be sent instantly on every incoming call.

An even better thing was if you could choose to only send busy-signal for some numbers (or only allow some numbers) from your phonebook.

An option to set a balloon pop-up in the system tray that displayed "NEW SMS RECIEVED" instead of actually displaying the message itself.

Reason: I use this software at work and often have my boss looking over my shoulder. I also receive alot of kinky messages from girls.
