MyPhonExplorer hang when disconnect the Phone in Vosta

Hi

When I forgot to close MyPhoneExplorer 1.6.3 before I disconnect the phone from the PC (Vista x86), the software hang and cannot be closed even from taskmanager its impossible to close.

Any ide? /T

Which connection ? USB or Bluetooth ?

same thing here. It's been there in all the versions I ran on Vista - the program just hangs and can't be closed once you d/c the phone without closing the app. Connection is USB.

Did you ever tried a reinstall of the drivers ?

This happens on all the machines I use MPE on (two completely different desktops and a MacBook Pro w/Vista installed) so I guess the drivers installation is not the issue here. The drivers are the standard ones downloaded by Vista from the Internet automatically when I plug the phone in for the first time.

I have also Vista and no problems. So it happens not on every Vista-PC. Please post the logfile after the crash - maybe i can see something useful.

it does not crash, it just hangs so no watson logs created I wish I could crash it but the only way to shut the program down after that is to reboot the machine... What log can I get for you to fix that?

No - i meant the logfile from MyPhoneExplorer (settings-Show logfile)

Same problem here, using latest version of MPE.

Connection is USB.

Typicall scenario, phone rings, I answer and move away from computer. Getting back and MPE is hanging, now way to shut it down, even with taskmanager.

Cannot post the log since I cannot stop MPE or restart it.

Also have the same problem on two machines with Vista. Both will hang MPE. Works if I tick "Disable automatic disconnect/reconnect" but then I lose a great feature.

One of the machines had WIN2K before and it worked like a charm (with automatic disconnect/reconnect).

Sorry guys, i cannot do anything against this behavior cause its raised driectly from the driver.
