Needing a Retry button when sending a message and the messag
I just sent a message using MyPhoneExplorer, but it said "Message could not be written" or something like that. But there was only an "OK" button! So now I have sent a message without having a copy of it. I would have expected to find a "Retry" button, for for me, having a copy is important. Otherwise I would not ask the phone to save copies of sent messages.

Sorry, I missed your post for some reason.
My cable sometimes drops out of the phone, and this must have happened between sending the message and saving it. Yes, this may be unusual, but I think high quality programs should handle unusual situations with grace too.
I do use a grey Sony Ericsson cable and do not have special problems with sending more than 160 characters.

I didn't know there were any difference between the cables? What is the difference?
No, I don't have a black cable here. Mine looks like this DCU-60 cable but has nothing written on it. I think it came with one of my girlfriend's Sony Ericsson phones. Maybe she has a black cable. I'll ask her when I see her.
But the problem could very well be that the cable simply disconnected, because the connection in the phone is not very stable - just a small push to the phone or cable and the cable disconnects, visibly.

Earlier when K750i and K800i came out there were no problems with unstable connection, but since one year i hear this problem more and more often. Even with new phones and cables. It seems that when the phone needs power for cellular activity then the communication breaks down. Event with the PC-Suite its then no more possible to send multiple messages. The only possible solutions are as i already wrote:
- clean the connector of the phone
- don't use Front-USB
- don't use USB-Hubs
- don't use USB-Extensions
- if the grey cable makes problems -> try the black one and if the black one makes problems then try the grey one.
The black cable (its called DCU-65) is shorter and it has a ferrite core - theoretically it should work better.
