K310i USB Connectivity Problem

Hi!
Whenever I try to connect my SonyEriccson K310i with PC using MyPhone Explorer, I always get the following error message:
"Phone couldn't be identified".
I have tried things like taking my phone's battery off and restarting my computer but nothing worked, though I can copy/paste stuff from PC into my phone when it's in "File Transfer" mode.
Kindly help me out.

Read the FAQ! You have to choose "Phone mode". besides this you have to install the drivers, if this is done then use Menu-File-Settings-Search phone
