SMS Sending

Hi,

I tried to send a SMS to +/- 1000 contacts.

I imported my contacts directly to MyPhoneExplorer, selected all my contacts and send a message to all of them. The import when well and there here no duplicate contacts.


When it started to send the messages, ramdom some of my contacts started to apear 2x, 3x and 4x times duplicated, resulting in sending 2-4 SMSs to the same person.

Any ideias why this happens?


PS: I also received some operator errors (but probably operator fault).

You probably have more than 1 number for some people (mobile, home, work, ...)?

No, my contact list were filtered before importing, just to have mobile phone numbers.

Its no problem if there are more numbers saved in one contact, but maybe you have some doubled numbers.

Before you send the message the next time to 1000 people please save the text of the recipientswindow to a file so you can check later if the number appeared more than one time in the recipientslist.

I dont think so, since i probably would notice that when i compile the list, but i am going to check it anyway next time.

I'm pretty sure that there is nothing to do with MPE regarding this issue. I think this issue because of the collision between outgoing message and incoming delivery report of the sent messages.
