MyPhoneExplorer always crash while browsing files

Okay, not to waste time here so the problem is since few days ago my MyPhoneExplorer stop working everytime I go to Files section and touch anything inside; say, as soon as I click on Phone Memory/Memory Card the program just stopped working and quit by itself.

This happened all of a sudden (it has never happened before) in my old MPE 1.6.5. So then I thought I just need an upgrade from there but no, after I installed MPE 1.7.0 the problem persist.

I'm not sure what went wrong here but I can use all other function with no problems. Syncing images is still possible and all the menu buttons for Files (browse folder etc.) is still working. The only problem is that I can't seem to browse my folders through MPE. The main thing that puzzled me the most is that the problem only start occuring recently. Is it the phone's problem? Or maybe an effect of Vista update?

The problem is raised from the file comctl32.ocx . Maybe you installed another program which did not register this file correctly. Please try it with this patch from MS: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... 662f5f62fe

did the same (xp tablet sp3), but installing the patch (and rebooting of course) doesnt correct this issue. any other suggestion?

Install the patch again in Save-Mode.

Same problem, try to install the patch in safe-mode but it wont do the trick
