Total pnone crash - thanks Franz Josef, MPE saved my butt

OK, my phone died today. Real pain, of course. But I dug the old 750 of of a drawer hooked up, forced Thunderbird to phone, synced and I was back in business. Now, MPE is my primary source of calendar and contacts. Obviously the syncing is cool, but it is also secondary to my #1 use, which is keeping key data under control. All clients and all appointments (with the help of Rainlendar). Which makes me think that if you ever want to focus on a standalone application where SonyEricsson support is an extra benefit, it is worth considering. Put differently. Even if I couldn't sync with my SonyEricsson, I would still use MPE as my iCal / vCard editor. Today, I used data from Thunderbird (and Rainlendar) as the source, but really it could just as well have been MPE as my main app, not a secondary app.

Thanks FJ - MPE really does what MS Outlook should have done. MPE really is one of the best apps I've ever used.

Ah, yes - this came just as my phone crashed. Appropriate. Point is, I use SE because of MPE - not the other way around...
