Is the R306 Compatible with "my phone explorer"?

I think the subject of this topic speaks for itself . I tried to connect my R306 to my phone explorer, but I can't get it working. I think the phone doesn't support serial connection though there is a bluetooth interface.

The R306 is a Low-Budget-Model and it has no softwareinterface. There is no software which compatible with it

plz allow me borrow the topic to ask the same question but for the model K300i ??? (yes, i knew it's old :S)

if our program isnt supported k300i, is there anyway to move sms to k300i to another SE phones?

Yes - the K300i is very old. But the SMS-Content should work.

If you use a USB-Cable: Only original cables will work (DCU10, DCU11, DSS20, DSS25). The Cables you get for 1€ in ebay are useless.

You can also use infrared for communication.

Just have a look at the sony ericsson homepage - if you can find the pc suite for your phone then the phone is also compatible with MPE.

Woooo, k300i is listed, it is under support of SE PC Suite

Hmm - it is a DCU-11 but there is one thing which makes me confusing: There is no SonyEricsson-Logo on the package, besides this i know the old delivered CD's from my DSS25 and from my K700i. SonyEricsson never used white CD's with blue font. They used white background, green font and a big SE-Logo infront.

I would prefer a Infrared-Connector cause the Connector for the cable in the phone is often dead or too much used on old phones. Besides this Infrared is universal, the DCU-11 will only support some very old models of SE.
