Everything's lost. is there any hope?

hello.

I found my phone explorer pretty awesome. but because of a hard crash I lost almost everything in my windows and it doesn't work properly. whenever i log-in to my windows i have 1 minuet to use it before being forced to shutdown.
And I can't even run the software ; I receive this error:run-time error'339'.
It means one of my windows dll file's has been harmed!
I did use a CD boot windows. now I have the access to all of my hard drives without auto-shutdown, but i can't still run programs such as my phone explorer! I have my messages and contacts only in that software and unfortunately I didn't create any backup of my messages. and the software can not be opened to help me save my messages.. is there any way to save them???

if you did not change the databasepath then the databasefolder should be located here:
Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\ApplicationData\MyPhoneExplorer

Windows Vista:

Code: Alles auswählen

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\MyPhoneExplorer

In this folder you should find a subfolder named as <Model> <IMEI> of your phone. There are some several files (Phonebook.dat, SMS.dat, SMSArchive.dat). If you see this files then you have won. Save the whole MyPhoneExplorer-Folder. If you have a working PC then you'll see the old data in MyPhoneExplorer if you replace the original folder with the backuped one.
