MPE reverts to German in Vista Business

Hi! I love MPE and have used it for my K800i seamlessly for a year. Now I've upgraded to Vista Business, installed MPE 1.7 and the language reverts to German after every software restart. As I don't speak German, this is a little inconvenient. Please, any suggestions to fix my MPE? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it works in English once. As soon as I close the program, it reverts to German again.

What is shown in the settingswindow as language after the restart ?

Thank you so much, FJ! It turns out the language was Deutsch... somehow my installation reverted to German, but once I chose English, it comes up perfectly. I even restarted Windows and reopened MPE to make sure.
