Calendar entry issue

In my SE W890i I entered a yearly recurring holiday, all day event. After synchronizing, it shows up as a birthday in MPE. I tried changing it in MPE to be a Recurrent Event. After xxx OK, it doesn't change.
Is this a bug?

I also noticed that settings the reminder to None in MPE is not sync'd with the W890i. The reminder here was set to 15 minutes before.

BTW I'm running MPE 1.7 on Vista

There is no extra-tag in the events which defines if its a birthday or not. MPE detects it when:
- its a yearly event
- there is a 4-digit-value in the description (the birthyear)
- the ruleend is set to endless

If you set a enddate then MPE will not show it as birthday.
