Sony Ericsson X1 (Xperia) & Notes, settings not saved

Hello, please help!

I have a customer that would like to use his X1 & MPE (on XP SP2) & Lotus Notes 6.5 AND get it to work

First thing:
When going into settings choosing Notes, setting the password and server, choosing correct mailfile -no problem.
But the settings arn't beeing saved!

Second thing:
MPE doesn't find the X1 on bluetooth or with USB cable, any sugestions?

The X1 is based on Windows Mobile, MPE does not support this phone. but i think there must be alot of other Software for Windows Mobile
