I have a k810i and sync with GMail for my contacts and Google Calendar for my organiser.
I love MPE and I'm finally getting organised! I have just noticed one bug:
If I edit a contact on GMail then sync, the contact gets moved to the top of the list in my phone address book until I edit the contact's name, navigate to the start of the name, right once and delete an invisible character. Very odd!
Not the end of the world, just a bit annoying. Any ideas?
As a side note, is it normal for MPE to use 22MB of RAM without a phone connected and while sitting in the tray (Win XP SP3)? Seems a lot...
Bug in synchronising contacts with GMail
Please follow this steps:
- Sync the contacts with Google so they are all identical with the phone
- restart MyPhoneExplorer
- edit a contact in Google to reproduce the bug
- sync again your contacts
- post the logfile here (Menu-Fiule-Settings-Show logfile)
In the logfile i can see the data which was transfered to the phone and it should be easy to find out which invisible char should be trimmed from MPE.
Especially if you use the SMS-Archive then MPE will take some RAM. Maybe a littlebit more than other apps - thats normal.
