version 1.7 long message bug fix??

hey in the older version long messages which were 2 sms or longer were getting mixed up. I just wanted to ask that has this problem been corrected in the newer version 1.7. i have not been using MPE because of this problem but the software is really good and useful. So if this bug has been corrected in version 1.7 then i will start using MPE again. please let me know
