Can´t open uninstal log file /S

Hey, I get this when trying to instal MPE Version: 1.7 ”Can´t open uninstal log file /S” . That file is not on my machine. Any help for this?

No idea why you get this message. Is MyPhoneExplorer already installed in a earlier version on your PC ?

Yes, version 1.5.9. is installed and I can not remoe it or install new version. Info : I am using Windows XP. Thanks for reply

Do you have Admin-Rights on your PC ?

OK, i don't know the reason for this and i think its the easiest to "overinstall" the new version. Open regedit.exe, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

There exists a subfolder called "MPE". delete this folder. The Setup will not detect the old version anymore and it will do the update without uninstalling.
