Delivery reports for long sms

Hi

Sometimes I get a delivery report saying that the message was delivered fine, but then the recipient writes back telling me that some parts are missing.

What does the delivery report mean in this case?

That the first, last, a random one, or all of the PDU's were delivered successfully?

Or does the SMSC return a delivery report for each submitted PDU and MPE then only presents one of them?

The SMSC returns for every PDU a delivery-report and MyPhoneExplorer shows it - there is no backlink to the original message or PDU.
