I hope this hasn't been asked before, but I couldn't find it on the search.
When I do a Sync my updated Phonebook doesn't represent what is on my phone unless I press download.
Is this correct?

I have the C902
I have read the log.
First i should explain you how a sync works:
- MPE reads the changenumber from the phone
- if the changenumber is greater than on the last sync then MyPhoneExplorer reads the changes since the stored changenumber
In the log you sent me there were no changes between the last sync and the sync which was in the logfile. Maybe we are talking in the wrong topic. As far as i understood your problem is this:
- You change some details of a contact in the phone
- you run a sync with MyphoneExplorer
- the changes of the phone are not accepted in MyPhoneExplorer
- if you download the whole phonebook then the changes gets displayed
Is this right ?

Hmm - would be a bad thing if this depends on the phone
please do this procedure that i can see whats working and what not:
- Sync your Phonebook
- Add a new contact in the phone
- edit a contact which already existed
- delete a contact which already existed
- sync again
then send me the logfile again. But please do not a multisync, run only the normal phonebook-sync to keep the logfile small.

Right I did that and I saw after the sync it changed the number I edited, but didn't add the new number...FJ hat geschrieben:Hmm - would be a bad thing if this depends on the phone

OK, the new logfile looks a littlebit better. The phone sends a correct changelog, but if MPE trys to read the contactitems then the phone returns "Database locked". There is a similar thing with deleting SMS-Messages (the process runs asynchron and the phone needs some moments to delete the messages). Please do the same procedure again BUT after editing the contacts in the phone please wait 10 minutes and then you sync again.
Aother thing: Have you also problems with editing/deleting/adding contacts from MyPhoneExplorer to the phone ?

Just to let you know I have sent my phone of for repair today to see if there is a problem...FJ hat geschrieben:The same procedure was now tested from another user and with his C902 it worked perfectly. His Firmware was R3CA033 - maybe its helpfully for you and maybe its a bug which is related not to all C902-Phones.
