I know there is a way to change the size of the font for contacts but it only gives you 2 small and large I believe......Can you make it as numeral values? 9,12,16,24 etc......? to adjust to peoples different size monitor resolutions.

My Monitors screen resolution is 1280x1024 pixels so many of my fonts appear smaller.

That would be really nice. Support!!
Even the large font is a bit small for my son.

I am writing as I see the support for the language I use (not English ) is not well supported. The program crashes when some filenames containing non-English characters are present. So I wonder if a Unicode support would be feasible? Thanks.

Fully unicode-support is not possible.
The crashes on DBCS-machines are hard to fix...

No - this is strategic decision. Big archives make MyphoneExplorer slow and i don't want that the Archive gets overfilled with useless messages.

We already have an option to auto archive sent messages if we wish, therefore we have a choice whether or not to do that right?

So by enabling that feature, isn't the archive going to end up filled with junk? We can go through the archive section and delete what we dont want anyway.

So my point is that there should be an option to autoarchive recieved messages too. For my purpose this would have great benefits and i'm sure for a lot of other users this would be most helpful.

After going through my auto archive, i can see some txts ive received in there, but they are hit and miss and never follow in sync with the msg i sent to get that reply. I cant understand why only the odd ones get archived. It's totally useless.

You are basing your descision not to include this option on your own personal preferences.

I understand it's your software, but I wonder just how many other people who use it would like this feature. It is there choice afterall whether or not they want to even have it enabled! We can always clear out the archive of txts we feel we no longer wish to keep anyway.... even now. I would rather have the option than not.

I have seen this feature request a few times, and suggest maybe a poll on it. you may be suprised with how many people would want it.

Even if it stays an undocumented feature. as long as we know its there and can enable it if we want it.

Hi mate... ive just found this program and its GREAT congratulations


ive just have 2 features

the 1 feature is about the widgets... your doing it to vista bar... however why dont you develop this widget for google desktop instead??? doing so this widget will be compatible with LINUX, MAC, WIN XP and VISTA, all in once because google desktop uses a universal standard for widgets...


another thing is... about multi sync...


i have a ipod touch and id like to sync it with my phone things, however i use google contactsm google calendar.. and itunes just sync with outlook... so why not sync simultaneously with outlook and google things?
because to do so now... i need at least 3 programs running.. MPE, google calendar, funabol, would be great have just one to handle all at one

A Google-Sidebargadget is in work, but its only an extension for MPE so it will not work on Linux and Mac.

A Sync with more than one app is not planned. Too complex and the risk of data-loss is to high.

Great software.......Great work man.
But when i export messages in html format my all messages mix up.
i did not recognize which message i sent and which i received.
please change their color as shown in My Phone Explorer.(better use text arrows too like: --> & <--)
and Support PDF file.

PDF-export is not planned.
The colors are the same like in the program itself - where is the problem ?

In My Phone Explorer, it have 3 columns
in auto-archived Messages
From/TO | Message | Time
-->green color for sent messages
<--blue color for received messages
when i export my auto-archived Messages green and blue color not shown
in html page.

How do you export the messages ? Menü-Extras-Current list-Save as HTML ? If yes then take not that you cannot import those files back again, its just a quick view of the list and this works with every list.

If you want a real export then use CTRL+A to select all messages and then rightclick-Import/Export-Export selected messages

MyPhoneExplorer is not a global sync-tool and so its specialized for the phones. The first priority is to sync your phone with it.

Also i've a suggestion. Option in Behavior or Advanced to change default double-click action for inbox sms - Reply.
Why? Because many of sms is shorter than text field "Message" and we can read it in tray when received.
I think it's not to hard to add this as option, and maybe it'll find fans.

First of all, thanks for a really nice program.

I'd very much like to see an option to start an external program when a new call or SMS is received.

Something like "Enter path to program to be started when a new call is received, use %number if you want the callers number as parameter" and then a textbox where you can write "c:\my programs\someprogram.exe %number" or whatever the path to your program is.
