Critical: Shell Extension BREAKS Vista Start Menu
A touch of exaggeration in the subject, I'm afraid.
However:
This problem is irritating, and difficult to troubleshoot.
Description:
Upon installing MyPhoneExplorer, some programs will NOT launch when using the Search method, or through the Recently Used Programs list. You can, however, still launch them by navigating the structure directly; e.g. going All Programs>Microsoft Office> Microsoft Office Word 2007.
This DOES NOT APPLY TO ALL PROGRAMS.
Most significantly, though, is that it applies to ALL MICROSOFT OFFICE PROGRAMS.
(which has kinda bugged me for the last week).
Work Around:
Download ShellExView and install.
Locate MyPhoneExplorer_ShellEx.ShellEx and disable.
This will resolve the problem, though it will also disable the rather useful "Send to Phone" feature upon right-click in Explorer.

I tried downloading it again and now it works so obviously I hadn't. I thought I did though ...FJ hat geschrieben:It was a silent update. Did you download and update MyPhoneExplorer later than the 20. February ?
Sorry about that!
I tend to favour altering the versioning number for all updates to make it easier to track all changes.
