MyPhoneExplorer does not recognize my K770i

Hi,

I have earlier used MyPhoneExplorer successfully with a K700i. I recently changed to a K770i, and tried to connect to MyPhoneExplorer using bluetooth. However, MPE gives the error that it cannot recognize the phone. I am using MPE 1.6.6. Is K770i not supported in MPE? If not, is there a workaround?

Hi,

can you connect the K770i manualy using your BT software (serial connection).
Have you tried to search your Handy under settings (F2) -> search handy? Most BT software uses an other port when connecting to an other device. Did you set the correct port?

I can't specifically help, other than confirm that MPE does support the K770i via bluetooth.

My guess at your problem would be the bluetooth settings on the PC, specifically the allocation of COM ports.
