lightning synchronization problem

Beitrag von publickenemy »

I am having a problem synchronizing between two Lightning calendars on different computers via my Sony Ericsson W810i using MyPhoneExplorer.

If I create a reoccuring event in Calendar 1, sync it to the phone, then connect to another computer, and sync with calendar 2, the events show up on the wrong days, usually a day earlier. If I edit the event in Calendar 2, everything looks correct, but it doesn't show up on the right day on the calendar.

Here are the versions I am using:

Lightning: 0.7
MyPhoneExplorer Add-on: 0.9.9
MyPhoneExplorer: 1.6.4
ThunderBird: 2.0.0.9

I have set both computers to use GMT-7:00 hours (Mountain Time). The Time Zone in Lightning on both computers is America/Boise.

Any ideas?

The problem is in Lightning Calendar 2. In MyPhoneExplorer, the events appear on the correct days. It is only when I sync MyPhoneExplorer with Lightning that the events appear on the wrong days in Lightning Calendar 2.

So here is what I'm doing:

1) Create reoccurring event in Lightning Calendar 1
2) Connect phone to computer and sync Lightning Calendar 1 -> MyPhoneExplorer 1 -> Phone
3) Connect phone to second computer and sync Phone -> MyPhoneExplorer 2 -> Lightning Calendar 2.

In Lightning Calendar 2, the events appear on the wrong days. Everywhere else--Calendar 1, MyPhoneExplorer Calendars, and the phone--the events appear on the correct days.

Please export the calendars from both thunderbirds in ICS-Format and post an example of the differing events here. I think the event might be losing timezone information on the way, but we have to check.
