Hi,
installed and try to runt the program. Locks at Splash screen.
In the Windows event log i find two related events;
(The "Source" for both errors is "MsiInstaller", why is this starting upon running the program?! hmm..)
Detection of product '{B7A70AF7-C412-4972-A5F8-B241A437ACFD}', feature 'Document_X_Engine', component '{96F72137-191F-4120-A2FA-9DA8F6C2C993}' failed. The resource 'd:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DevHelp\VSIPCC\' does not exist.
and
Detection of product '{B7A70AF7-C412-4972-A5F8-B241A437ACFD}', feature 'Document_X_Engine' failed during request for component '{E89A98DD-023B-11D2-B146-00C04F990B2B}'
Since I don't use my D: disk, it seams as if there is something "hard coded" that can't be found?
Can't start MyPhonExplorer

New fault
Thanks, but wasn't the problem.
Started up my "Help and Support" service in windows, and now don't get a lock, but instead;
---------------------------
MyPhoneExplorer
---------------------------
Run-time error '339':
Component 'ccrpDtp6.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid
---------------------------
OK

Problems...
Cleaned registry and re-installed, and now I'm back to the old problem.
A setup of 'Innovasys HelpStudio Lite' starts sort of in the background when I start MyPhoneExplorer, and I get the same fault in the event log as before.
Whats up with HelpStudio? I do have VS 2005 Pro installed, maybe something there that is connected to help studio somehow?
Thanks!

Same same
Quick reply there!
The .ocx-file is there and all. Unfortunately I'm back in square one sort of. And the strangest thing about this is that the program started the first time I installed it, but not in subsequent tries.
Is MyPhoneExplorer using Innovasys HelpStudio in any way? Or is that a problem totally on my side?
Thanks for the support!

Other programs
Saw that I did have Innovasys HelpStudio installed. I'll be sure to fix that thing first!
Peace out!
Peace out!
Its a strange bug and its depended on the windows setup host. Myphoneexplorer does only need the VB6-Runtimes. All other files are included in the setup.
Something raises the setuphost to load a library if a library from myphoneExplorer ist called internally (the SGRid or the Datepicker). I don't know why this happens and i also don't know how it can be fixed cause it happens only on some machines. Installing or Deinstalling should help - many users had success with RegSeeker.
