Cannot Connect My K750i to Computer Windows 2000 & Ser 2

Hi,

I have searched this forum for my particular problem but unable to get any answer. I am unable to connect to my phone through phone explorer with the following details about my plateform and phone:

Phone: K750i
OS: Windows Server 2003 & Windows 2000
Medium: Com Port (through datacable)

I got a poped up error message with the following descriptions:

Search Completed
No Device Found

* Take the battery out of your phone for 2 mins
* Restart your computer
* etc
* etc

With an OK button at the bottum.

Please not that I dont want to buy a infrared device when I have a data cable and I want to do it through this datacable.

I would be grateful to you if you support me in resolving this issue.

Are you using the original Datacable of SE ?
Please connect your phone to PC and start MyPhoneExplorer. After that you do a "Search device". Then post the logfile here (Settings-Show logfile)

Actually I got this phone from one of my friends. I dont have its documentation and nothing is on cable to mention about it wheather is an SE or something else. But I believe it is the original one which come with this phone set.

Please install the drivers for your phone.

Would you please give me another favor to send me the link of appriopriate driver from Sony Ericson site or from somewhere else. As I found a number of drivers laying on Sony Ericson site and dont know which one to install.

Wel I have got another problem. Right now I am in my office working with Windows Server 2003. I have found the CD that came with this phone. When I tried to Install PC Suit from that CD. It gave me an error message in the middle of installation:

"Sony Ericsson PC Suit 1.120.173 requires you to run on Windows 2000 for Windows XP"

then installation aborted.

Serial cable for k750??? This phone have only USB interface (whith internal conversion to serial) and require drivers from SE.

Thank you very much for these updates. I have downloaded the mentioned drivers. This is a zipped file, unfortunately when I extract it I get a number of files but there is no setup-file or an exe-file. I am unable to install these drivers. Please suggest me how should I proceed now?
