Problem to run myphone explorer

I install the app but when I try to run it a receive the folloing error message

Run time error 372

Failed to load control 'phonebook; from. Your version of may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application.

Can you please inform me how to solve the problem.

Please note that my Os is vista ultimate

Something went wrong with the installation...

- ensure that you are using an admin-account
- deactivate the User Account Control
- if DEP is activated then make an exception for the setupfile

I had already did this steps but still I have the same error message

The first times no but I try the solution I find in the forum
Topic: www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtoppic.php?t=2712 and know when I try to install or unistall the app I have windows message that Myphoneexplorer_setup_1.6.3.setup has stoped working and promt my to check for solution online or close the program
I try to unistall it manualy. I delete the folder from progam files I run regedit and delete all the entries I find and I try to install it again but still the same error message

Are you sure that its not DEP which raises your problems (cause it looks like this)

I turn of the DEP and manage to install th app but stil can not run it.

Is MyPhoneExplorer.exe itself also in the exceptionslist ?

The installation .exe of the app .exe?

I wave DEP on only for essential windows programs and services so the exeption list is grey

It just loads all librarys needed from MPE. I hope you'll get a better errormessage with this.

The new error message is:

Component 'comctl32.ocx' or on of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

OK, then search for the file and register it
It should be placed in the system32 directory. To register it just drag&drop it to the file regsvr32.exe

I did it but still the same error message apears

Try the following command:

c:\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe /u comctl32.ocx

(for Vista or XP)

I had the same error message on Vista Home Premium 32bit.
The problem has solved with this command!

I hope it will work.

If it doesen't work retry, to register the comctl32.ocx with

c:\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe comctl32.ocx

Hello,

i have a similar problem on windows vista ultimate 64bit with SP1.

I did everything like it was said here and i also downloaded the test programm. It finds ccrpDtp6.ocx as not registered and when I tried to regiter it I recognized, that it is not on my system.

I registered comctl32.ocx (found it in "C:\Windows\SysWOW64"), but that didn't help.

i hope you have an idea

The file should be located in C:\Program files\MyPhoneExplorer\DLL
Does it exist there ?
