I have a SE K800i, which I use against two different computers, one using Windows Vista and the other Windows XP. This does work well, but I have a question regarding editing text files through the files section.
When I in MPE goes to the Files section (in the left menu) it does display the files on my phone, but when I choose to open the file either through double-xxx the files or right-click and selecting open I can't seem to save any changes made in the editor.
I get the files to open, and doesn't get any errors on saving, but when investigating where the files is saved it's saved in the folder: C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\MyPhoneExplorer\Sony Ericsson K800 [355704016910786]\Cache\Memory Stick\other\Moby
So my problem is how to get the file changes back to the phone. My initial thought, which doesn't work, is to resync, where I'd expected MPE to see that the cache folder is synchronized back to phone. I could upload the file but that seems unneccessary clumsy, especially with such a path to remember...
Is this a bug, or is it just me how hasn't found the right way to edit text files stored on the phone? Are the some other way to easily synchronize text files which I want to edit on both the phone and on the computer?
