Good morning,
I have MyPhoneExplorer version 2.2 installed (but I can upgrade to version 2.3) on a Windows 7 PC with Outlook 2010 (Office 2010).
I own a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and, more recently, a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
MyPhoneExplorer synchronizes perfectly with the S9+ on Windows 7, but my new S25 Ultra is only partially and inconsistently synchronized (for example, pictures/images are not synchronized at all).
Is there anything that can be done about this?
Would upgrading to MPE version 2.3 help?
I apologize if I’ve written or posted something incorrectly, but I’m an old man (6 and I really don’t understand much about these things.
For that reason, please talk to me as if I were a child — and not a particularly bright one.

Images are not synchronized by default. You must activate this in the settings page Multi-Sync, with path definitions set in the last settings page.

No. However, for a new installation, you should always pick the newest version to avoid problems related to outdated software.

Thank you very much for the lightning-fast reply.
I have the images (photos) option checked in Multi-Sync, but the pictures still do not synchronize.
So I will probably be asking for more help on this forum.
But before I do that, I’ve decided to review and organize all the MPE settings to be at least a little better prepared.

The photo sync does check special common photo directories. In which folder you have saved your photos on the phone? |
Originally, I had set the same folder that I created a few years ago for syncing photos from my previous phone (Galaxy S9+). I still use that old phone as my main device—until the issues with the new phone (Galaxy S25 U) are resolved. The Galaxy S9+ continues to sync photos without any problems.
I am now searching my computer (PC) for all folders that contain photos synced from the old phone (Galaxy S9+). I’ve noticed that there are several such folders. One by one, I’m entering the paths to these folders in the sync settings for the new phone (Galaxy S25U). So far, this hasn’t worked. Everything else synchronizes (Outlook, selected Word files, and others), but only the photos won’t sync  |

I am not sure if i understoofd your problem correctly.
Make a new photo on the phone and then start the photo sync - do you see that MyPhoneExplorer is transfering the new photo? If not then please send me teh logfile of MyPhoneExplorer ( Menu - File - Settings - Show logfile ) via email with a link to this thread and also with the path of the new photo inside your phone. |
