I have one phone but there are two phones in the User list.
I have gone to C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\MyPhoneExplorer and deleted the file folder associated with the "ghost" phone, and I have edited the MPE executable with ID=name of the real" phone.
C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPhoneExplorer\MyPhoneExplorer.exe id=real phone name
The ghost phone keeps showing up.
Syncing the real phone calendar also syncs the ghost phone calendar, but MultiSync does not sync Messages with the ghost.
Any suggestions? |

1. MPE => File => User...=> User (Ghost) activate
2. MPE => File => User...=> User (Ghost) => Delete User |

I suspect that the MPE client has created a new MPE ID on the cell phone and this new user was created.
The simplest solution would be:
Copy the content of the old folder in the new folder under (C: Users [Username] AppData Roaming Myphone Explorer) and use the new user. If everything works, you can delete the old user. |

Thanks!
That worked, but not quite as expected.
When I restarted MPE after following your suggestions, the Ghost phone disappeared, and the Real phone remained, with all content intact (I think!)
However, now after syncing the Calendar, the phone calendar only reflects the Google calendar, not the MPE calendar. I am syncing with the MPE internal database.
How do I get the phone to sync with either both calendars on only with the MPE calendar? |

Check the settings: Phone => MPE-Client => Settings => Calendars to sync |

Thanks again for your patience.
Client settings are:
Phone => MPE-Client => Settings => Calendars to sync=>Christian Holidays, Holidays in the US, Calendar (all 3 checked) and google gmail address (UNchecked).
The phone calendar is the Google calendar.
It syncs with Google even though the gmail address is unchecked. Does it sync with Google regardless?
Even though Calendar is checked, it does not sync with the MPE calendar. Does Calendar not mean the MPE calendar?
Set MPE Sync Events and Tasks to both Sync with Internal Sync DB and Sync with OnlyMyPhoneExplorer - no difference in phone calendar. |
