I got a new Windows PC. I have ported there Outlook files from the old computer. I have installed MyPhoneExplorer and want to resync the contacts on my phone and PC.
Despite the fact that my Samsung Galaxy phone contacts and Outlook contacts on Windows PC are mostly in sync, MyPhoneExplorer marks the vast majority of the entries both in phone and in PC Outlook as different. Why?
Also, for some reason despite the fact that both Samsung Contacts and Outlook Contacts list names in Last-Name, First-Name format, MyPhoneExplorer shows names in First-Name Last-Name format. |

If you have a new PC, it probably makes sense to transfer the contacts from your cell phone to MPE using the blue arrow (reload from cell phone).
Then you should force the sync from your cell phone to Outlook.
The format setting for the 'Name' field is done under MPE => F2 => Appearence = Display format for name |

@icke1954, thank you for your response. I've already applied the name formatting, and I appreciate your help with that.
Regarding the synchronization issue, I see the same entry with identical content listed as existing only on the phone and, simultaneously, as existing only in Outlook. I’m not sure why this happens. It would be helpful to understand why these entries aren't being matched properly, especially since there are quite a few like this. |

This is because MPE detects any differences because you ported the Outlook contacts and did not transfer them using MPE.
Solution:
Delete the contacts in Outlook and force a sync from the mobile Outlook |
