I have been using MyPhoneExplorer for many years now, it is very useful.
Today however, MyPhoneExplorer does not recognize my profile, where I have saved all my data, my address book, well filled out and in order: same PC, same phone.
By connecting the phone via USB (always via USB), the MyPhoneExplorer application on the PC asks me to choose the name for a new user, and my phone is not associated with the original profile.
How can I do?
What data do you need to help me?

1. Log in to the new user.
2. Find your MPE database folder on the PC
If you haven't changed the default path, you can find it as follows:
- Enter Windows Start Menu (Run) => %appdata%myphoneexplorer.
otherwise
- see MPE=> F2 => Advanced 2 => Database
Open [Database]MyPhoneExplorer
3. Exit MPE
4. Copy the entire contents of the old subfolder to the new subfolder

Re: HELP: MyPhoneExplorer doesn't recognize my profile
Mine is similar, only I have two identical S-24 phones, and always use Wifi, PC to phone.Xmaster111 hat geschrieben: ... MyPhoneExplorer does not recognize my profile, ... : same PC, same phone.

Today, on BOTH phone's, "the IP address can't be found", after opening or opening MPE, or Multi-Sync requests. However, when I first open MPE or Multi-sync, my phone does light up, obviously from being pinged by the PC's MPE via Wifi.
Since, neither phone's IP can be found, despite that the phone lights up. So it seems that whatever the PC's MPE is looking for in the phones' MPE config, it is not finding it.
Yesterday we lost power several times, and reset various network components. Since it first looked like an IP / DNS issue, I rebooted Wifi router, DNS provider / firewall, MPE each time on PC, RESET the PC's Wifi, and rebooted the 2 phones as well. --- It still didn't work to recognize the phone when opened, but did respond to the MPE request.
Nest, I flushed DNS on PC, and reopened MPE. My phone's Wifi was not "polled" upon first opening MPE. Then I tried multiSync, and it DID light up, but still was not recognized.
-- "Connection to the Phone could not be established: Failed to obtain the IP address of the phone."
Obviously, it DID "get the IP address of the phone", but still showed that it did not. I've "fixed this phone not recognized" issue before, by switching to the other registered phone, and then back to the original. This time, nothing has worked.
It seems to me that we should be able to fix this mis-configuration somehow, manually. I need to know what to change, so it will recognize the phone. We KNOW it found the phone's IP. --
I also assume that the "workaround" is to first,
-- COPY all the folders, (or rename them temporarily),
-- RE-REGISTER the same phone as a NEW device
-- shut down MPE,
-- copy (or rename BACK to the original profile folder's name"
-- RE-open MPI ---
-- --- >> REPEAT for the 2nd phone, and it SHOULD work for both.
I'd rather hand edit two entries into some config files that go through this much work. I've seen this same problem 10 - 15 times in past years, and had the recreate accounts several times. How can I more easily fix or workaround the connection /authentication problems for MPE, (which I still love)?

Please try to launch MyPhoneExplorer Client on the phone. If this fails then the problematic version 3.10 is the reason. In this case please install the current beta on your phone: https://myphoneexplorer-client.en.uptodown.com/android
