For example, if I'm giving my phone to my kid and want to delete all my calendar events/tasks from it, how can I do that? Thanks!

If you are going to give your phone to someone else to keep, you should do a factory reset.
So your data will be purged and the other person can start with a clean phone.

I made a point of saying I was giving the phone to my kid specifically to avoid getting that sort of response which doesn't answer the question. I'm not giving the phone to a stranger but to my kid. There are many things on the phone that both of us prefer to leave on there. So, no, in this situation I should not do a factory reset.

If anyone can provide an actual answer to my actual question, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks!

In MPE on the PC, mark all appointments and tasks for deletion and then synchronize them

Well, your kid may be 5 or 40 years old and your question said nothing about any conditions like you want to keep some data on your phone. And let's be honest, simply selecting all events and then xxx "delete" isn't particularly difficult.

Go into apps and Calendar Storage (or Calendar - may depend on your version of Android) and Storage - and delete cache and data. That should do it.

@dvhttn: Basicly you are right, but the app is only visible if you have activated "Show also system apps" and it has to be always called "Calendar storage". The app "Calendar" is only the viewer app itself, it does not hiold the database.

Saw this and checked again and finally saw how to 'show system apps' .... Why the h3ll do Google have to change everything whenever they release a new Android version ..... Rolling Eyes Yep, Calendar Storage is what you need .....

My question asked the specific question I wanted answered... it didn't need to provide other information that didn't relate to the getting an answer to the specific question I wanted answered. Additionally, the question indicated I wanted to delete the calendar events/tasks from the phone, not the PC desktop app. And there is no way of "simply selecting all events and then xxx "delete"" on the phone; otherwise I would have indeed simply done that instead of posting.

Thank you. This quickly and easily deleted all the calendar events from the phone and accomplished exactly what I asked in my original question.

Much appreciated. Thank you!!!
