How to recover SMS messages on previously synced phone?

I was able to previously sync my old phone with Myphoneexplorer

Is there anyway that i can copy the SMS messages from my computer to the new phone ?

Make a backup via MPE => Extras => Create backup
Install the old MPE client 1.0.48 on the cell phone => https://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.p ... 921#138921
Realize a restore via MPE => Extras => Restore backup

Where can I find the old MPE client 1.0.48 to install on the cell phone?

I have installed the old client on my phone. Thank you for sending it.

On my computer I have two folders - one for the old phone and one for the new. (They are actually the same physical phone - the "new" is after a factory reset.)

In MPE on my computer I can switch between users - the new phone and the old phone.

I have copied Messages.dat from the old phone's folder to the new phone's folder. In MPE on my computer looking at Conversations I see the messages from the old phone when I select the new user.

I cannot figure out how to get the messages onto the new phone.

If I create a backup, it backs up the few messages on the new phone, and restoring the backup just restores those messages and changes Messages.dat on my computer back to only those messages.

I have wondered about adding messages to the Archive but to do that I have to select each individual message. With 3 years of messages that is quite a chore. And I don't know that it would help.

Suggestions are appreciated!

You create an offline backup of your old cell phone.
Make sure that no MPE Android connection can be established.
MPE => Extras => Backup> = Ignore error message with OK

Data from my old cell was saved with“Extra /create back up”.
I have got a new Motorola G24 cell (by the way, the supported phones list is disabled http://www.fjsoft.at/de/supportedphones.php) and downloaded MPE client version 3.9 from Google Store. I have MPE version 2 on my computer and created a new User (Motorola) acordingly .

Here are my three issues:
• The menu “Extra/restore back up” only restored the contacts list in my new mobile , but in a “first name, last name” format even if MPE settings are “name format= last name first name” both on my computer and cell.
• The menu “Extra/restore back up” did not restore sms in my new cell. From the PC MPE dashboard , all sms appeared in the “messages/conversations/archives (computer) . Then, I copy pasted messages.dat, messagesArchives.dat from “administrator/AppDat/Roaming/MyphoneExplorer/old Huawei P9 Lite) ) into “administrator/AppDat/Roaming/MyphoneExplorer/new MotorolaG24. They now appeared in “messages/conversations” PC dashboard but not in my cell despite the Synch.
• Same for the call log: it appears on my MPE PC dashboard but not on my cell despite synchronization.

According this thread, I imagine my issues come from the cell client 3.9 version? Can you please forward me the old MPE client 1.0.48 to install on the cell phone because I cannot find it in https://www.fjsoft.at/en/Versions/ ?

The 'Name' field is not a real field, such as last name, first name..., which is transferred.
You have to set the format (last name, first name) yourself in your contacts app on your phone

about names, you are correct, I was able to set them accordingly in my cell. Now I just have the last two main issues .You wrote you will send me a mail but unfortunately, my email address was wrongly set up. I just corrected it. So thank to forward me again your mail lost in translation

I precise that I also tried with mpeclient1.0.48.apk in my cell instead of mpeclient3.9, and it still does not work.
