Sugestion on FAQ

Hi, guys.

I'm a brazilian owner of a Z610i who's now, after coming to know MPE, satisfied with the whole set of mobile/software. In other words, MPE is such a nice peace of software! Congratulations on your excelent job!

I have one suggestion to give: put in the FAQ a section about common integration errors, like the famous "obex error, unable to blablabla...". Remembering this can be fixed following this instructions: http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?p=5759#5759

Meaning copying all contacts from the phone to the SIM and then wiping the whole phone list and recovering it back from the SIM. At least it worked for me too...

Hy

This errormessage can have many reasons - not only the phonbook-bug. Its also not recommened to backup/restore it via SIM-Card cause there is the risk that you loose many informations. Its recommened to make a backup on the MemoryStick (not every model supports this)

Hi there.

The phonbook-bug prevents the memory stick backup as well... At least on my case I wasn't able to use that feature until the complete contact list erase and restore.

And my Z610 was able to correctly (with some restrictions) restore all my contacts from the SIM card without problem, but that's me. Not sure how other phones work.
